DH and I are going east in June to visit one of our daughters. We will be there at the time of the Vermont Quilt Festival and we want to go. We will be camping and are wondering what campgrounds are near there. Any ideas and suggestions.
    Thanks, kathyd

I was there last year. I am not aware of any campgrounds near by but I can tell you that you will have a great time. Tons of people but the lines move fast. The place is big enough to accommodate everyone and bring enough $$ because the vendors booths take as long as the quilts to look at. Is one of the best shows I have been at.

I don't know anything about camp sites, however I will be having a quilt in the show. I won it at the Quilt Show by the Q.U.I.L.T.S. Guild in Schenectady, NY last October.

I paid $5.00 for raffle tickets and it was appraised at $1875.00.

It is a designed by Susan Mezera, Appliqued by Lois Bena and Quilted by Joanne Hendrick.

It is absolutely gorgeous and it's named "Midnight Floral Fantasy". Keep your eyes out for it.

It is a black queen size with gorgeous flowers on it. I don't think I can show a picture until after the show. I wouldn't want to break any rules for these very talented ladies!

    Enjoy the show!

Mallets Bay Campground http://mallettsbaycampground.com/ and North Beach Campground http://www.enjoyburlington.com/ are the closest. It is a great quilt show, 4 of us gals went a few years ago and we want to go again.

Thanks for the quick info everyone. Sometimes you just need the locals to help sort stuff out.
