I would put 200k in the bank and use the rest to buy a house needing less updating and something that only has a couple steps to the porch :-) with a lot more acreage between me and any neighbors.. I really hate living in the city

The house is two stories and also has an attic access (but not a full attic as far as I know.) They have three wood burning fireplaces, a very spacious kitchen, dining room, den, and living room. This house honestly has everything, even a man cave in the basement (which also has a full bar). I'm really just getting started here, but you can find more information from that link.
