I lived in this house over 50 yrs ago....I loved, loved, loved it. My bedroom was over the porch.......it was huge.
I wish I could buy it back but I can't afford the taxes and to heat it. WHEW !!!!

That is a cute house but I am with everyone else here for that kinda money you can get land and a house. My vacation home in Middle TN is a 4200sqft tri level home with two kitchens, 2 master suites and 6 bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths on 100 acres and I am paying taxes on $225,000.

Incredible Queen Ann Victorian. Wonderful fireplaces, pocket doors, original woodwork, porte cochere, balconies, stained glass, butler's pantry.
I like yours too. We may have to arm wrestle to see who gets it. :)

Ya, it's a little pricey but a) it's in Astoria, which is amazing! and b) it was built in 1885, which, being a student historian, makes me swooooooon!!!! ;) lol

This would work out perfect...I have the money for retirement, only not enough for a house where I want to be on top of it. If somebody gave me 250 grand, I'd be on the the Big Island Hawaii so fast it would make your head spin LOL!!

What's that saying...if wishes were horses, beggars might ride...Keep dreaming all!

too bad you don't live near me in WI. They have 2 Victorians in the paper this week. Both cheap. One has a very curved open staircase - pretty house -price: $55,000.
    Yep fifty five thousand!!

    LOL.

What would you buy if you had a fairy godmother to lend you the money?
Cute, but having owned a three story house, I know what they cost to heat. Now I have more room, all on one floor (hallelujah)...more square feet, one teeny tiny step. Trust me, those steps get old fast.
