I know my dog breeds this fellow definately has poodle in him, he has obviously adopted you so give him lots of love and he will return it tenfold.

Anyone on this planet who has not known the love of an animal has missed so much in life.

I agree with Dogsgod and lilithcat - He definitely has poodle characteristics but his hair is Schnauzer. I vote Schnoodle too. He sure is cute.

could have poodle in him, and chocolate at that, not easy to come by. He could be very young too. your vet can give you all the info you need.

He looks like mine too. In the same litter there was a solid white boy. These are very highly prized in my area. One breeder charges 1,500 dollars a pup. They are very loving and smart. Hope you will keep him.

Just saw the pic, definately poodle terrier mix
    probably schnauzer/poodle mix
My instant guess was 'cockapoo', but I am not very good at this kind of thing.

I bred Toy Poodles for 26 years. He is def part poodle.

    >>he said "JACK" could be around a year old....I really don't think so, his bones are ever so frail>vet said his tail looks to be shortened, not inherited. >his testicles are SUPPOSE to be dropped - for the life of me, I cannot see them!! After grooming I will TRY to take a pic of that part - see what you all think.

wvhill22....don't ya just love collies??? We own two.

For those of you that are in the "dog rescue business" (and I mean that as in provide a foster home until they can be adopted), how do you like doing that?

We have considered providing a rescue home for unwanted collies. We live in the country on many acres, and would have room for some to roam.

This is off topic, I know...no intention is meant to "steal" any thunder from the one who started this thread.

    Very, very cute dog, btw.
