My MIL used to call these "sooners". Don't know what it meant, but that's what she called 'em!
My dad called dogs 'sooners' Just as 'soon be here than there'

sight unseen...low weight, long legs, curly hair...guess toy poodle...at birth some breeders cut the tails short ,(a practice of mutilitation in my eyes) for pure aesthetics.

Just a guess. be watching for the pic.

Should have read allthe posts, before i posted..poodle terrier mix.

There's some terrier in there.....probably some miniature poodle, too, hence the small size. And as far as the "personal part", I bet he was fixed. Good luck...he's a sweetie!

He looks like my sister's Bichon but a poorly groomed version. Kind of like a tiny Irish Wolfhound. Her Bichon is hyper at first but then he's a snuggle bunny. All he wants is someone to pet and hold him all the time.

Most photos show Bichon's as cute white fluff balls that look more like a Maltese but my sister's is more of a buff color and his hair, although soft, is not all puffed up like in the dog show photos. My friend also has a Bichon that is white but is long & skinny like my sister's.

This website shows lots of pictures--some like my friend's Bichon but none the buff color of my sister's. http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/bichonfrise.htm

This is Blackie. He had that name before I got him. He belonged to an elderly woman who could no longer care for him. He is a MAJOR snugglebug!
