it was a very chilly 48 when I woke up.. and I recall having lived in AZ once how those of you in PHX put SWEATERS on in the winter when it got down to 70.. brrrr.. (everyone in the frost zones of this great country are rolling their eyes right now). We will hit high 50's today and probably I will put an overshirt on my t shirt.. come on over everyone.. its not warm like PHX but you wont need your sweater!

We had the snow last week. Started C'mas Eve Day, and continued thru' the 26th. Over two feet...and blizzard conditions. Seemed very strange C'mas morning to have no kids!!! Just my DH and me. First C'mas ever, I think, that we stayed in our PJ's all day!!! LOL

It's a cold 18 degrees here. They say snow is to be expected by tonight. I'm a wimp, I'll stay in all day if I can. Next week it supposed to get colder near 0 for highs. I will want to hibernate then for sure!

It is about that cold here right now as well, though once you get down to this cold, really doesn't matter a few degrees either way, Dh has my fire going in my sewing room and I hope to have it warm and toasty and I won't need to worry about it all that much, he also gets to be the lucky one to take the puppies out!

Cutebuns....my DH also looks after the dogs. However, they are Golden Retrievers, so opening the door to let them out is about all they need!!! LOL Even in this cold, they are happy to be outside for hours.

It is 22 above at 2:30 in the afternoon here in St. Louis. This is cold for us, and we have a dusting of snow.
I grew up in northern Minnesota, on the prairie, and all my memories of that time are of being cold! We banked the house with straw, but it was never enough!
