Another cold one here, too. DH said cows all had frost wiskers at 9:00 pm--that starts around -10 F here. Sure makes it tough to keep diesel tractors and skidsteers operating. Thankfully it's been sunny and the wind calm.

I thought that was a cool pic too! We went to Co. a couple years ago and saw a few elk for the first time.

It's cold here today -23. I don't have a dog because I don't want to take it out in the winter and the hair problem.

Today we are in the single digits amd expecting more snow :hunf: In 24 hours we got 18 + inches. Did I mention my snow blowers aren't working so I had to clean it all with a shovel. Oh and I have a drive way from the front of the house to the back double wide

My friends laugh at me because I so much more enjoy cold and snow more than hot and bugs. It's about 20-degrees before I wear my winter coat, but for about the last 4-5 years I've had my own built in furnace (hot flashes). Now that I've had my Hyst we'll see if that continues. I miss wearing sweaters.
It will it's a process on that(hot flashes fraze). Good luck coping with it. I had my first (hyst) in '97 and I'm stilling with the process.
