I'm not holding my breath either Henry. The weather people in Charlotte are just calling for a "dusting" around here. Of course, that' usually when we get hit hard.

I can say brrrrrrr. The temps are starting to plummet.

I'd rather have DH home today. The roads keep drifting shut.
But I guess he needs to go to work. The power plant needs to be kept on the grid, not have some problem...

it's cold here - 24 degrees, not as much ice as they had thought which meant I had to be at work on time (darn-it).

cooling down to 15 tonight. I may have to gather up the pack into the bed tonight so I can keep warm....

Well...another gorgeous day in paradise here! I just opened up the door to my office because it's 77 outside. I wish I could send it your way! Another BBQ tonight.

These are the last four lines of a poem that I wrote just over a year ago.....

These recent frosty days and nights
    will leave in May remember,
But it's tough to think of global warming
    In the middle of December.

Hot flashes - Like what???? Please tell me!!!!![/quote]

Drink sage tea. Health food stores have sage tea bags. Make it the way you make regular tea. I'm not kidding - it worked for me the first time I went through the change and again when I started hormone therapy after my breast cancer treatment. I have a friend who is a naturopathic doctor - she's the one who suggested it. The beauty of this is, if it doesn't work, you haven't put anything 'bad' in your body. BUT I HOPE IT WORKS!!
