I have a lunch tomorrow at a very fancy hotel and it's one of those Murder Mystery things. It's a wake for a gangster, set in 1929.
I went to Burlington this evening and I found a drop-waist dress with a flirty hem, a cloche hat, pearls, gloves, and a pearl bracelet with a black flower. I also got some round-toed heels with a flower on it.
I'm going to put my hip length hair into three ponytails and then curl it and pin it in pincurls so that it looks short in the back. Just long enough to peak out under the hat in the back.

Oh, what fun! I was lucky enough to get to act in a murder mystery dinner theater once. U of I was hosting the Big Ten Purchasing Conference and I got to play the ghost of the first murder victim. A non-speaking part, mostly just gliding by doorways, windows, etc., but it was loads of fun. It was held at the Robert Allerton Mansion in Allerton Park. http://allerton.illinois.edu/
