I now have my Mom living with me here in Mo. She had a stroke in Feb. & can't take care of herself. I drive a 4x4 truck that is pretty high off ground. Mom is in a wheel chair when we go places as she can't walk much. We had lab work yesterday & then went onto Wally World ( only place in this town to shop). We have a wood box my DH made for her to steo up into the truck. We park in Handicap parking. I just pushed the box under the truck so I wouldn't have to pick up & put into back of truck. We were in the store 45 min. Came out & the blasted box is gone. Now my Mom can't get into the truck, too high. I had bought a case of pop & was able to have her stand on that( with her weight I thought she would explod the cans) ha. None of the workers at walmart were helpful. I went to police station & made a report.
The truck was parked in front of their security cameras. I hope they can catch whom ever took it. Honestly stealing from the handicapped. I am Pisssssss........ Had to make a new box yesterday. Thanks for listening, Donna, The Rustic Quilter

lol, sorry but it is the truth, folks will swipe most anything and someone MIGHT have thought he/she did you a favor by removing something from under the vehicle. I hope you do get some feedbback. Life gets more amazing every day. Bless you for taking care of your Mom, I did mine and I'll never regret one minute. GF it is an adventure.

    Blessings, Ruth

Can it be chained to the truck? Or put it back in the cab from now on.

It takes a sick person to steal from anybody.

I hope Karma bites that person right in the a$$. I am so sorry this happened to you and your mom. You were very creative with using the case of pop for a stool. It looks like you are going to have to start locking the stool up in your truck. I know it will add to what you are already doing. I will pray for you and your mom.

I have to agree with the someone probably thought they were helping you in case you didn't know it was there. They probably thought someone was being mean by sticking it under there.

Yes, I normally put it back in the truck, but my back was really hurting. I have to lift that wheelchair in & out too.I also thought like some of you that someone thought that I didn't know it was there & would run over it but it was no where in site. I was in the 1st. h/c parking space so don't you think that they would have just set it off to the side. Yrs. ago my4 yr. old neice got killed in an aoto accident. She was one of my mother's favorite. Anyway, I bought a cute Xmas tree & decorations for her grave & someone stole all of it off the grave. I wrote a letter to the editor of their little paper expressing how sad it was to steal from a little 4 yr. old. That was the only thing my Mom could get her for Xmas that yr. People are so sad.
