    This is scary, I am still receiving spam from UPS, Fedex and other common company names, just spam but scary just the same.

    It's been on the news..IRS would never use the net for that..they would mail it!!

    We haven't gotten our refund either. This is a big indicator of the condition of our country's financial status. BROKE!! Treasury Dept hasn't gotten the money printed yet. The more they print the less it is worth. Anyone noticing how their dollar isn't buying as much at the grocery?

    I thought everyone had to FILE taxes whether they owe anything, or not.

    no, if you go several years without having to pay anything, and nothing in your circumstances has changed, you don't have to file.

    I got the same one yesterday. I knew it was bogus before I even opened it but there are still people out there (like me elderly MIL) that would reply immediately. I also get at least one per day from DHL or UPS. I wish there was something that could be done about these.

    I have 2 questions; why don't you have to file income taxes? And did you report this to the local police so they can follow up on this fraud?
