It would be made out of a lightweight fabric like flannel or something to that effect.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So you see why I need to find something. I tried a dog harness but she slips out of it. I would like to attach it with velcroe so I could adjust it to her size.
Thanks for listening.

You are so right, bearisgray, wish I knew who did it so we could prosecute. But you know what they say, what goes around comes around. However, I would not want anyone to go through what Ida and I did. What a precious girl she is.

Someone came on our property and shot her in the head with a pellet gun. Shattered her jaw on the right side, broke the bottom jaw and lodged in her neck. She is doing very well right now, but I just can't risk letting her roam around this neighborhood anymore.
---------------------------------------------
If you suspect it was done by someone in the neighborhood, then I'd suggest you keep a sharp eye on any boy from age 5 to the teens. And listen carefully to other kids teasing one of them for wetting the bed, and try to smell out (Literally) any one of them who likes starting fires. These 3 things are the signs of future killers, usually serial killers. Plus, they usually have a "difficult" family life.
In that situation, I'd be very careful in letting my grandchildren run around playing with only one or two other kids. I would keep them VERY close to home, preferably behind a high, solid fence.
Where I live now I am afraid to let any of the younger family (ages 10 up) visit for very many days because they get bored and want to roam around the local high school near here, and absolutely are never left by themselves when I'm shopping or leaving home for even an hour or so.

The Thundershirt is not actually a harness. It's used to wrap the dog snugly and help soothe his fear of thunder and other loud noises.
With the popularity of tiny dogs that fit in your purse, I would think that a cat-sized harness would be easy to find.

My mom got one for her cat at Petsmart. The cat likes to be outside, but is afraid unless he's leashed. She's got a stake, a long lead and puts him out in the back yard and he's happy for hours. Silly cat:-)

I think you want something like this? It is called a kitty holster. I looked and looked for one for less than $20 or a pattern and I never could find one.

Our cat easily gets out of the cat harnesses but we bought her a dog harness for a smaller sized dog and have sized it to fit her and she cannot get out of it and it is still comfortable for her to walk in.
If you make one, please use some industrial velcro as it wears out over time and you don't want her to slip out of it or get it caught on something and have it open up.
You could try adapting a doggie coat pattern.
