    I love it.. I've never been able to find that many times in the same color/ or pattern... u did a great job. and I love ur selection of ties

    Time will tell how well this will hold. I machine stitched the end of one tie to the beginning of the next to make a long "rope". The horizontal ones were larger print paisley and a separate "rope" of small prints were used for the vertical. I did use a heavy "carpet" thread and secured the begining and end of each "rope" by hand using MANY separate square knots (although I am going to see if I can get my machine around that chair today to reinforce.

    I made 10, yes 10 chair bottoms using silk ties. After a couple of years my family told me how uncomfortable they were to sit in. I just gave 6 of them away. They were pretty. Hope your's sit better than mine did.
