He is at home now. The police said his was the 4th house robbed in his neighborhood in the past two weeks.
The eye specialist cleaned his eyes, he has to use eye drops for a few days. He goes back to work Monday.

Thank you all once again for the thoughts and prayers.

    What a shame! :-(

Does he have good support (friends & family) there in Oklahoma?

Can he see out of that eye again? So sorry you have to have all this anxiety. Things can be replaced - hope he's alright.

His sister lives in OK City. Plus he has the staff at the rehab he went to. And I am a phone call away.

He can't open it yet. Only vision he has right now is what little vision in his right eye (the one with no Macular)

Hope your son's eyes heal quickly and painlessly. I too believe in karma, so hopefully the foul thieves will get a nasty dose of something very unpleasant in the near future.

Being a parent is mostly rewarding, but also pretty nervewracking too....doesn't matter what age they are they are still your babies....Hang in there.

Chasing Hawk, I am so sorry this happened to your son. I pray that your son will be okay and that they catch the thief(s). Let him know that there are many of us who care about him.

So many break ins! For 2 wks. in a row we have had cars broken into at our church. Deperate people do crazy things! Hope you son's eyes will be okay. That is the most important. It seems we can't have anything valuable laying around anymore. Always someone ready to take things that don't belong to them. So sad!
