I used to go all the time when the board was under the older owners. now no one goes there. you really have to type fast to keep up. the print is small and I can't see small print either.it used to be loads of fun and you met new people there. everyone would more or less get there at night about 7-9 EST, and during the day about 12-1 PM EST. Maybe it will pick back up.

First time I tried it I had an immediate/panicky quilting question, the people were really nice and couldn't have been more helpful.
Second time I went on, Oh my Word!!! Very bold with the rude and snarky = have never been back.

i love chat. all kinds of chat. have met people from all over the world on various chat programs. always fun, mostly nice, a few snarks ..but mostly just fun. the chat program here at the board varies in use. as of this minute it says "live chat 0" on the header here. i've met a few board members via the chat and we exchanged a few pm's. have never ever met or read any snarks on the board chat. i haven't been on it in a long time and really haven't had time last year or so ...busy making dolls and doll clothes etcetc for the grands and sewing for fun. no free time to chat.
