Default Christmas Music how soon is too soon?

I had fun today at work. I work as a receptionist in a medical office. For a variety of reasons I am responsible for the music that plays in the waiting area.

This is quite funny as I truly do not have an ear for music. I like music, but cannot carry a tune and I do not think I fully appreciate music.

So being that today was the first day after Halloween, I followed the trend of Shopping Malls everywhere and streamed Christmas Music all day. It was fun to watch peoples faces as they realized what they were hearing.

Don't worry it will be back the the old station on Monday, I just wanted to have some fun and see how many people noticed.

The Christmas music will play again after December 1st.

I will admit I could listen to Christmas Music all year long. Whether religious or secular it is all uplifting.

You just had to mess with their heads didn't you. It reminds me of the commercial currently airing on TV. The couple are handing out Halloween candy at their door, they shut the door and go to walk away until they hear another knock on the door....they open the door to Christmas carolers

The Christmas Shoes... UGH. I can't change the station fast enough! It's your classic Urban Legend, set to music.

I love Christmas music, but not before Thanksgiving Day.

But I am in Canada, we have Thanksgiving in October.

It was fun today, but I will be waiting until December first to play it again.

MisDixie, do not worry I am respectful of our Veterans. The Legion is right across the street from where I work. I love when they have the Pipes and Drums outside for a ceremony.
