Christmas news letters

Love to hear from friends and family, because it's the only way I have to have an overview of the whole year, and to keep up with my cousins' children. I've never done one myself, though.

several years ago, my oldest friend started putting photos of all her kids, spouses & grandkids onto a regular 8 1/2 x 11 printer paper & sends that with her cards...

i stole the idea... just photos w/captions...works out really nice for all the great aunts & uncles who live all around the country & don't travel as much anymore.

I love getting cards however the last 3 or 4 years I've noticed a steep decline. I don't get near as many as I send out but that's not what it's about is it? This year I did a card exchange with some other crafters (online & in real life) and we made our own cards to send to each other. 1)I like to make cards and 2)I like that they go to people who appreciate them :wink:
