Hubby and I went to Cracker Barrel last night to celebrate his 21 years of having his new kidney and pancreas transplant. He is no longer a diabetic.

Yes the gift shop already has the Christmas trees up and decorated and ready to start selling things for Christmas.

Wonderful! I would leave a tree up all year around if I had the room (smile). Thanks for sharing this!!

I would leave ours up all year too if we had room. Because of the economy they are wanting a head start I am sure.

If at all possible I avoid the stores that start too early for my taste.
    Not always possible :(

HobbyLobby opened up a new store nearby and I think it has their Christmas stuff out now. Not much Halloween though.

I LOVE Christmas--that is, the season beginning Christmas Eve and ending on January 6. The traditional "Twelve days of Christmas".

I DESPISE the perversion of Christmas as "The Buying Season" and the totally tasteless, Christless frenzy that characterizes it, and the commercialization that decides that Christmas is over on December 26.

Unless it's a craft store (only because it takes time make something) I can't stand Christmas items up before Halloween. If I want to shop early for Christmas I'll do it without their motivation.
