Yesterday she posted about a little fabric store in her town...being I work about 10 from there, I had to check it out today at lunch.
Oh heck yeah, the lady was giving discounts and extra yardage on everything.
Tonight I'll try to take a picture of my haul, but I know I easily got over $150 of stuff for $64. Some of the bolts of blenders were marked $6.99 yet she was charging me $5.97 for 1 1/2 heavy yards. Wow
Found out the owner was on vacation, had left her dog for the manager to take care of, so the discounts were flowing!
Wonder if I can get the owner's vacation schedule for the rest of the year?

That was part 1 earlier today...
Okay...here's the pictures of my lunchtime haul ---
Regular prices of
14 yds @ 6.99 (mostly blenders) = $97.86
9 yds @ 4.99 prints = $44.91
4.5 yds @ 3.99 prints = $17.96
Total with tax would have been $170.38
Really got at least 6 - 18" inches extra on each cut, all a min of $1 off bolt price and then some "just thrown in extra"
I got it ALL for $64...

They go to the Quilt Show in Paducah and the manager says the prices get so messed up that no one really knows what is going on. When they come back, they have prices criss crossed off and rewrote several times on the bolts so she charges what she thinks they really should be.
She's worked there for quite awhile it sounded like (she was very chatty) so I'm hoping this is their version of "while the boss is away sale".
