It always sounded fun to me to go on a coin flip trip !!
Get in the car, with a Left or Right headed coin, can do a random drawing for length of time before flipping again. Stop when you want to and enjoy the view. Here is a beautiful country, most people are good, lots to see, have to wonder what you would find along the way, use your instincts or common sense if somthing gets funky.
Have any of you done this and how was it ???

Sounds like a good idea. My DH and I are always wanting to just get in the car and go sometimes. I will suggest this to him. How fun.

I think it sounds like fun. My S.O. and I just drive places because we want to get out of the house. We always wander into something.....life all around us. We need to enjoy it when we can. Now to figure out how far to the LQS and fudge a bit, whatcha think!?

Blessings,
Ruth

On Sunday we got in my "new" convertible and started a drive in a similar manner. We ended up trying to avoid rain and put the top up after a couple hours. Big storms snuck up on us and now my car has dents from hail covering it. Today I get to deal with insurance! Next time I will check the weather before heading out for an afternoon drive! Lesson learned.

Sounds pretty much like how I get anywhere. My kids say anytime we go on a trip its an adventure. Took us three hours one night to get home from the goodwill store in the next county over because I took a few wrong turns at night, ended up one more county away before I found a highway I knew.

My friends and I took a "modern" version of the coin-flip trip. We got in the car, headed south, and she typed "quilt shop" into her GPS. Went to that one, got in the car and typed in "quilt shop" again--all in all we went to 4 shops we had never been to before. What fun!!

Never flipped a coin, but sounds like fun. We just get lost and make it into a fun time. (no small kids though-just 2 old people)

awwww, MaryMC, so sorry for the destruction, of the car and the nerves. Hope something good happens so to give you better memories.

Blessings,
Ruth
