    That is why we left TEXAS to retire back in the Midwest. Spent some 23 years at Corpus Christi, TEXAS and left some very good friends there...but we were raised in the Midwest and wanted to grow our own veggies and fruit...therefore, we are proud of our garden. I showed the lovely respones to dh, and he could hardly believe all the kind words of people on the QB. It was a priceless gift to him for Fathers Day. Thank you everyone for your kind words.

    Great garden. I was so proud at how my tomato and pepper plants were doing that I grew from seed. The other afternoon a microburst went right up my street and broke all of them off :cry: Nothing else was damaged but our neighbor suffered cracked siding and broken windows.
