Love you taking your life in your hands and thanks for your compliments of the season lovely saying. I still feel and say Merry Xmas and never meant to leave anyone out was just not aware of all the days but wish everyone a wonderful holiday season. Since I was a small child it was always Merry Xmas and since so many people believed in the Birth of Christ there was never and issue until quite a few yrs later. However people do not mind taking care of the sales regardless of religion and no one should care we're all people and should wish each other a happy holiday season I have some Jewish friends and have worked for Dr's from India and Pakinstan and I always took interest in how they celebrated their holiday so lets all try to get along in 2012 it would be so nice all this fighting and killing people for a pair of sneakers or whatever do we really have to act like that. Happy Healthy New year to one and all no matter when you celebrate your New Year. Sue

I do however THANK YOU most graciously for sharing your "compliments of the season"! I love to learn new ways to say things and this is most splendid!
I hope your holidays were Merry and bright!

Thank you to everyone who has posted on this thread, and to those who PM'd me too. I am touched that most people have taken my greeting in the spirit in which it was intended!

For those of you on the Gregorian Calendar - here's to the New Year - and I send all good wishes for the coming year.

I think no one should be told what they can and can not say as a greeting .....
