How great! My old friend (a cocker spaniel), Hobo, used to be so afraid of the water until we took him to a doggy water park at the beach. He watched the others dogs for a while and then tip-toed in himself. By the end of an hour he was romping through the waves just like everybody else.

Our city pool closes on Labor Day. They allow the dogs to swim for a week before they drain the pool for the season. The lifeguards enjoyed it so much that they made 2 carpet-covered ramps so that all the dogs could enter and exit easily. What fun. The pics in the newspaper are so cool!
