I see ads in the paper and bulletin boards of businesses that have flyers and such for low cost spay and neuter, I would definitely check for those. If you're "low income" your local Humane Society also does low cost spay and neuter. I just got a certificate for spaying a starving stray cat that showed up the other day, for $10, normally $25, but she said since I do so many other things for the Humane Society, she said she would let me have it for $10.

There's lots of spay/neut. clinics everywhere around me here in Tennessee. Check with your local humane society or aspca and they should know of somewhere close to you to get that done cheaply! The vets. are like docs.---they have gone crazy when it comes to $'s!

Around here if you get a cat or dog from a shelter there is a fee to adopt which also includes neutering if not already done, when you get animal fixed they reimburse your cost, but they already have the pets immunized. It is a win, win.
