My venue is a bit different; I sell at a couple select dog shows. My sales this year were less than half of what I made last year.

We also used to do dog and cat shows and noticed the sales were starting to go down a few years ago. This year we haven't even been notified that the dog show/pet expo was going to be held. Cat show venue /location was changed to much smaller facilities. Everyone here in the northteast is feeling it. I can only suppose it is country wide. Can't subsudize this any more. Plus health issues are a very big factor. DH's knee is giving him a lot of pain; not fair to ask him to continue doing the "heavy lifting." It was fun while it lasted...

I used to do shows in the '90's but the last one I did in 2004 or so was at the local HS. Sold zip, that was the last one I have done. Just can'et afford to waste my time and $ on "I wonder....". I now sell by order. They pick out the fabrics and pay me to make it. I miss seeing everyone but not that much.
