I'm sure that people who bought the first large screen TVs at about $3000 also got mad when the prices dropped to $300. Technology usually gets cheaper as it rolls along.

Not a problem for me. I have enough patterns to last my life time. I don't take classes.

I like the idea if it is cheap enough. Seems Comcast has its nose in a lot lately. Too bad they can't get something
good on tv for all the money we pay.

I noticed Crafty is offering the classes you already purchased, on dvd for $50 each. Really?

I've only taken 2 classes. Not sure if I'd take anymore.

OnebyOne, I have been wanting to comment about the DVD issue on this board, but figured I would get "poofed" since we are discouraged from complaining here. I think that is COMPLETELY ridiculous and sent a message to Craftsy saying so. If I want a DVD for a class I have already paid for, they should be charging me no more than $10 for it. I think of it as a "supplement" to the content, not separate content. In my humble opinion, all of these websites charge entirely too much for DVDs (that goes for all the ones on PBS too, who shall remain nameless).

Lest anyone think I am bashing Craftsy, I'm totally not... I own more than 85 classes there. But, enough is enough!

I have purchased a number of classes on Craftsy but I can't say I've been impressed by any of them. Since I changed internet providers I'm not getting all my emails from some site even though I've changed my email address with them. If they are going to charge for membership I'll probably pass. There's too much free stuff on the internet to pay for it.

    I hear ya, cindyb!

I guess that spells the end of my relationship with Craftsy! I vowed to never knowingly give another cent to Comcast, not after the string of experiences I've had with them. Bummer.

Ah well, good thing there's endless free videos on YouTube!

I love the classes I have purchased from them, I have learned so much. I do hate to see it changed. If it doesn't work out for comcast I wonder if they will just shut it down. Better see if there is a way to download all the classes I have.
