Crazy weather

We even got some early rain a couple of days ago. Everything indicates that we are going to have a wet and very cold winter, which means there will be a lot of trees down and lots of accidents on the road. Flatlanders seem to have no concept of Ice on the road being dangerous

I have taken to carrying a hoodie in my car for those days when it gets chillier than I thought it would be. Layering my clothes is also something I have gotten better at. I also carry a hat with a chin strap for those windy days. But regardless, I will brave weather for quilt show. LOL

This past spring in Minnesota we had some NASTY ice storms resulting in many, many downed trees and icy roads here in SW MN...not fun for this gal! DH often takes me to work when the weather is bad.

Cagey, I tell people living in WI means we have a God given right to complain about the weather. I live right on Lake Michigan in South Milwaukee and I can literally walk three blocks west and go from dense fog to bright sun and 15 degrees warmer. There can be a trace of snow at the airport in Milwaukee, and we're having a white out. Craziness!
