craftybear, thanks for the link. That's a new one for me. I've already printed off a couple different patterns.

crochetpatterncentral is a good one, too.

My first entry into the needlework world was embroidery which I still enjoy doing. My second entry was crocheting and I LOVE it even after 40 years! I knit also, but not as well as I crochet. I am never without a tote bag with crochet/knit projects. At the doctor's the dentist, getting a haircut, waiting outside school for my grandson, etc. etc. When I go someplace with DH I crochet/knit while he drives. A row here, a row there and a baby hat is done! When I'm not quilting, these other crafts keep me busy. I make a lot of baby hats & booties for a nearby hospital in need and many of my patterns come from bevscountrycottage.com. She has an incredible amount of patterns (both knit & crochet) Give it a look. Nice to meet another happy hooker! No offense - it's a person who crochets! Not many of us around these days.

I'm a chrocheter also for about 35 years. Love to still do that when I'm not quilting. Everyone in my family has at
least one thing I've chrocheted. They are probably happy
now that I took up quilting!

What crochet projects are you working on now? I am making some of the crochet scrubbers to wash dishes from netting. They are fun to make.
