Thanks for your suggestion to use two strands. I didn't try the pattern because I thought it would be too thin to use as a pot holder. Love your color choice. Going to check my yarn stash today.

The two strands of different colors really makes the chicken look like it has feathers! I would love to use these on the serving table under warm/hot serving bowls . I was leery of hot pads without more hand/heat protection. But I am a great chicken fan both in kitchen decor and raising my egg laying friends. Is a pattern available for this cutie?

What a cool chicken this is! I will look for the pattern on Google....but if you have it maybe you could give me a hint as to where to look? Thanks. Again, just one of the best kitchen chickens I've seen.
