My dh was a curler when he was in school in WI, but here in TX we don't get a lot of ice so this is how they curl in TX. Sorry if there is an advertisement before the video.

We live 20 minutes from a town where one of our US men's gold medal at the Olympics is from. They have been offering free curling lessons to the public one night a week in order to educate more people about the sport. Pretty cool!

i love watching it, but dh and i still can't figure out scoring, and what it means when someone bumps the other.

with artificial ice, more and more warm areas are getting into ice sports- like hockey

I’m watching the tournament right now!

I’m learning to curl now, just did my 3rd lesson. I love it! It was DH idea, something for us to do together now that he is retired.
