Default Cute hat and a cute Christmas tree that kids could help make

I saw these today and just wanted to share with you all. The fleece hat is fast and easy and would make cute gifts and the tree could be made by the kids on a snow day to keep them busy.

Thanks for sharing. I have a pattern I found for a hat/cap. I made a couple for my friend who is going through chemo. I should say was. I used fleece for her caps since the fleece would be warmer. I like the idea of the cuffs. it can be pulled down over the tops of the ears. She said the tops of her ears were colder than her head. Found out yesterday, they stopped the chemo about a week ago and now she's in hospice. So sad. These hats are much warmer than some of the scarves. I went for blood work this morning an thought why not make hats like these with the fleece and even flannel and donate them. They would be great fundraiser for others also.

Thanks for the great links! That hat is really cute. I am thinking it would be great to make some for the homeless shelter, women's (and kid's) shelter, or anyone else in need.

Yeah, I am! I also love the hats, but my hair doesn't play nice with hats & caps. So I "make do" with ear muffs.

Great pattern, thanks for sharing. I love fleece hats. My granddaughter loses hats-always nice to have extras!

Thanks! GD learning to sew on machine and she will love the hat! I run out of ideas on simple stuff and this fills the bill! Tree is cute too.
