I'll be doing a couple of quilts, some pin cushions for friends, a few pot holders and coasters. Totes and make up bags if I get to them~

Snowballs...yes, that's right .snowballs. Pattern from Charming Station.Grandsons who moved to Florida (and hate it there) will be getting snowbals so they can have a snowball fight. Otherwise, I found some new tote patterns on line and will do a few of those for Yankee Swap upcoming in Nov.

After years of sewing my fingers to the bone and making sure that everyone had something special just for them, I have opted out and made myself the gift. The gift of time spent with grand children. The gift of caring for the sick neighbor. The gift of chauffeur for those on chemo, my gifts don't take up space they last for ever in ones heart and the joy of giving keeps me going 365 days a year.

Mom just moved here and does not need more stuff for her apartment. So I am going to make her a selection of placemats that will brighten up her table and not take up much room. Got the pattern from one of my magazines and it is fast and does not require quilting since it is only two layers of fabric with a frame.
