Wow where has this month gone. I will be posting the new thread tonight when I get home from work. If I have time during the day will post while at work.

Remember to send me your weight loss tomorrow and Wednesday. Winner will be announced Friday.

Goodness I have not posted much this month. I hope everyone is recovering from Christmas. We have a very small, quiet Christmas this year. Spent the day with just the three of us. No family drama, no stress, no schedule. It was so peaceful. It was also sad because my siblings won't have anything to do with each other so we can't get together as a group. I don't think I will have any weight loss worth posting this month. I have lost a couple of pounds, which is great but not enough for those batiks.

Well the pot of batiks will not be staying at my house, it seems that I have gained 2 lbs instead of lose them. I had lost 5 lbs but put it back on plus some. UGH.

Waiting to hear from you all, don't forget to PM me your loss.

    Good Luck

On Dec 1st my weight was 198.6.

Just want to be able to be held accountable when I win...........I will take a picture of the ones that I already have and post a picture of the winning pot.

And no one has said anything ...... just planning for the best but expecting the worse to happen.

Well I know what caused my gain, I was battling with some depression and loss of self worth. Found it again, realized I don't need to depend on anyone or anything for my happiness, it is my choice to be one way or the other.

I am changing me from the inside out. I will work on winning the next batch of batiks. LOL I am starting the new year with a new lease on life and no one or nothing is going to stop me.

I have let several things in my life go, including controlling my diabetes. I had it so under control, I know when I have my next set of labs done they will not be good. I have too much still to live for. My son and DIL are thinking of starting a family. I want to enjoy my future grandchildren. I am in control.

Cindy, there was a commercial several years ago that I really liked. (Can't remember what it was advertising.) It was a little old lady and she said something like this: "I wake up every morning. I can choose to be happy or not to be happy. I choose to be happy." We can't always control how we are feeling about everything, or what things are happening to us or around us. But we can have some control over our lives, even when things are tough. Hang in there and take back your power over what you CAN control!! May 2014 be a great year for you!

Happy New Year everyone, and a fresh start!

BTW I had no loss but no gain this month (for which I'm very happy).
