Our deer ate some of my daylilies to the ground couple of weeks ago. Lilies are coming back now, so I wait to see what the deer eat next. I do like to see them around, saw two this am on my walk.

We have so many deer!! We live on the main highway and you can't drive the 2 miles into town without seeing at least 5. I gav up planting almost everything now, they eat it all up. The only things they dont are dafodils,...I thnk thats about it!! Honey suckle, lilac, rododendren, day lillys, iris, they eat it all. I just share now.

We have three dogs in a fenced area (with a doggie door into the sunroom)...they go crazy when the deer go by the fence but the deer just look at them......same with the wild turkeys.

We had a large wooded lot in Syracuse and I fell in love with the deer. It's been many years and I still miss them.
Once I learned what NOT to plant I was all set lol.

where my house is, the law forbids feeding the deer. However, given their love of my plants, I'm about ready to learn to hunt and learn to like venison!

Me too! We have the strangest things come through the back yard. We've had turkeys, roosters, goats, and even a cow went across the yard. LOL It got out from the neighbor's fenced in yard somehow. The little boy across the street said, well maybe the cow jumped over the fence, since he can jump over the moon. He's adorable :)
