Oh they are adorable, she is going to love them. You are very talented. I made DGDs many outfits for their American Girls Dolls, ordered patterns for Molly and Kristen and sewed outfits from the stories. The girls still have their dolls but as they grew older they didn't play with them so I gave the patterns away. Never thought about the girls getting married and having kids, so far only great grandsons but never know when a little great grandgirl will come along. See that the pattern companies have patterns, much more for active girls than the girls in the orginal stories.

I'm so impressed with your attention to detail in these tiny outfits, they are so cute!
My fingers wouldn't allow me to 'fiddle' with items like these any longer, though I made amazing dresses for my younger daughter when she was little; the older one (10 years difference) was short-changed as I didn't sew when she was small.
Your DGD is very blessed to have your work!

They are wonderful....esp. that coat and hat outfit!! I still have my DD's Giggles doll (DD is 54 now!) and the outfits I made for her. Her hair needs work but I think I loved the clothes more than my DD did. I should get them out and take some pics. Made her two dresses w. panties and pinafores, nitegown, and purple coat &hat....recently bought a pair of purple shoes for her! I hadn't kept the pattern but found one online and would like to make more outfits. I think my obsession comes from happy memories from my own childhood of playing with dolls and their clothes. I'd also made a bunch of Barbie doll clothes for her (learned to knit making her a sweater) but we gave these all away when she outgrew them....and how I wish I'd kept them! Doll clothes are such fun!
