    To take a different view here, you haven't said what the mistake was or what the person said. The person emailed you privately; they didn't bash you publicly. Since the person was handling it discreetly, I'm wondering whether they just wanted to bring your attention to the mistake? If so, why be upset about it? Or did your mistake upset them in some way and they were trying to clear the air?

    You haven't responded to everyone's replies. Certainly you don't have to share the details, but at least let us know if everything's okay now?

    I wouldn't even give my opinion if asked, If they looked long enough or really wanted to know what they were asking about, they would see it or will sooner or later. I see no reason to give an "honest opinion", even if asked.

    I have found that some people(God bless their hearts) are just mean nit pickers who truly think they are the quilt police, cooking police, house keeping police, yada yada yada...     usually mistakes aren't mistakes at all, they are learning tools....i get some serious laughter out of some of the remarks people leave...what else are you going to do?
