I have lived within a 50 mile radius of where I was born and raised my whole 68 years.

Live in town where I grew up. My parents and three of my brothers are here, plus extended family.
I CAN'T leave; family means the world to me.

Wish I could afford to move back "home" to New England.

No where near where I was born and far far away from where I will always consider my home state; and would never ever move back to my home state.........I love where I am now with the love of my life.

I grew up in a very small town ( not even a traffic light- i guess you would call it a village -huh?) Moved to a larger town - lived there for 8 years - started to hate the four lane highways and the traffic so DH and I moved. We now live about 7 miles from the town I grew up in but at least 5 miles away from any grocery store or gas station. And we love it! Of course sometimes we miss the convenience of having a store right around the corner but wouldn't trade it for anything! All in all though I have never lived more than 30 miles from where I grew up.

I was born in the city and live in the country about 20 miles from where I was born. I live 40 miles from where my great grandfather was born. I haven't strayed too far, since family came in 1862.

My Dad was in the Air Force. I have lived in 13 states and Bermuda. I had moved 16 times by the time I graduated high school. The I married and spent 30 years in Chattanooga, TN, raised kids and divorced. Chattanooga was not home and with a little gypsy in me, I moved to Hinesville, GA and wondered around the coast and settled on Brunswick. If my husband has his way we will be in the mountains when we retire. (He is from West Virginia) Home is where you hang your heart.

I was born in New Castle Indiana and lived many places around the state. My parents moved to Fl. in 1960 so I had no choice than to come with them. lol. We lived in Kissimmee (pre Disney) and that is where I raised my family. I now live in a small town in N. Central Fl.

Have no choice - I'm now living in the house where I grew up in a small town that is on the downslope of this recession. In the 50's when I was a child, it was a wonderful place - now it is just sad. I'm not, just the area!!!
