Well, I spoke too soon! I not only have ONE cat, but now have FOUR!

My hubby brought home 3 little babies last night that were in the coal mines that he works at!

I posted about them and put pics here:

Our apartment complex has a rule, no fur, no feathers!! Boy is my DH happy. We both grew up on farms and lived and raised our 6 kids on a farm, kids are gone so we left the just recently moved off the farm. We have 4 Bala Sharks in a 36 gal tank and that satisfys the two of us.

People have to breed cats? I thought they just bred themselves, like rabbits.
I also think that almost all quilters have cats. What would we do without the aggravation? I have two Maine Coons. They take turns lying down on anything I'm working on. And guess what's all over the quilt when they get up? You got it, Maine Coon hair. I could have made two more cats by now, out of the fur they've left all over the house. Especially during the summer. I don't have dust bunnies, I have dust kitties.
But did I mention I love them to death?

No cats for me, no dogs either. I grew up on a farm, and don't want the mess or bother.

I have 8. One is 20 lbs Maine Coon who sleeps on the quilt I am trying to quilt. Have you ever had to move 20 lbs while quilting? And I wonder why my quilting looks like ....

I'm just getting my feet wet with quilting. I have a 17 year old domestic short hair (grey and white kitty in my avatar). I got her when she was around 10 months old.

I have birds, tropical fish, goldfish and two dogs - my avatar and a Manchester. I would love a cat as well but so would my Manchester - probably for LUNCH!
