Do you have a problem? Let me walk you through my home, in my sewing room are three bookcases, one is full of Quilting books, quilting magazines, and my radio to sew by. The other two are full of different fabrics, sorted by color/size. I have two plastic three drawer bins, full of fabrics, three baskets, two boxes, and another smaller three drawer bin of scraps (really gotta do something with them one of these days.) There are three under bed rolling tubs of fabric, two tubs in my closet, and several boxes, bags, of designated fabric with patterns.
YOU don't have the problem, I do! But I wouldn't have it any other way!!
Best deal I can tell you is to never pass one up! My husband had guns, ammo (enough to make me regret the whole gun thing,) fishing rods, reels, fly rods, etc, and I'm not even going to tell you about all the tools that he rarely used. Two boats and all the trimmings, two trucks and all the trimmings. He never fussed about me bringing in fabric, any notions, or a sewing machine. It wasn't in his best interest!
I don't take pictures of my stash anymore because I feel overwhelmed with guilt for not sewing every minute of awake time.
Enjoy it and don't let him put you in a state of panic, you've only JUST begun!!

Oh Lulu, he hasn't seen a problem yet. LOL Has he looked at his own stash of "stuff"? Men! When my DH says anything, I just point out all of his "stash" and he usually just gets this stupid smirk on his face and shuts up. LOL    If that doesn't work I sic my SIL on him. She likes me better anyway. LOL

I don't think you have a problem. I have a "small" stash, (well maybe not that small) Fabric calls my name I need to buy it and touch it and look at it in my sewing room. I have a whole wall of cabinets filled as well as a few (a dozen or so) Large rubbermaid tubs full in the garage. I love being able to walk into my sewing room and just pull all the fabrics needed to make a quilt!!!

I agree with you. My stash will keep me busy when I retire. I may need to live to 120 to use it all, but that's OK with me. :D

Want To See What Hubby Calls My Cave?
If he thinks you have a lot of fabric...get him a chair, before he sees mine,...and it has grown since then!
