The majority of my packages are shipped Priority which has free delivery confirmation. I like it as I get an e-mail when the package is delivered which as the date & time delivered. And if there is a problem, I can see the tracking from my door to wherever it's last stop was.

As a seller, I always want tracking. I have been burned more than once by someone trying to say they never received something. At least with tracking and delivery confirmation, I have a leg to stand on.

As a buyer, I appreciate it but don't always monitor it.

I like to use tracking.. it tells me if it got there incase I dont hear anything from the reciever. It also helped me tell my daughter that she had packages on her doorstep this xmas!! lol.. She never checked her fron doorway. lol..

UPS and FedEx I do look at frequently to make sure something hasn't gottne delayed. USPS tracking most of the time seems like a waste. They dont always update so sometimes something has been delivered before its ever updated. I know I got it (if i'm at work) but I dont know where it has "been". :)

I like tracking but only look it up if there is a delay.
