I still cook. My husband is still a three meal a day man. I use my crockl pot a lot and make enough for several days. I try to have our main meal at noon, and the other two are smaller meals.

I nuke popcorn mostly. But! If you consider opening a can of soup, adding water, and heating it on a single burner hot plate as cooking, then yes I do. All I can fit in my room (at school) is a microwave, coffee pot, and hot plate.

My main meal of the day is at the all you can eat buffet on campus, but I do get hungry again at night sometimes.

I cook just about every day, but I also freeze leftovers in individual containers and I can grab one and nuke it for lunch at my sewing group or for a quick dinner when hubby is gone on business. I like my crockpot too, but too often I don't think of using it till it's too late! I gotta start thinking about dinner at breakfast time!

I've been an empty nester since 1980. I cooked and cooked and cooked until I decided that is enough. I have been zapping whole meals for about 2 years now. I'm more healthy, etc and spend less on food. Buying food to cook today, unless you are cooking for a crowd just is not economical.

Thanks for sharing and keep zapping
