Nope- if I lived by myself, I might paint a wall purple, but my DH would not go for it at this point. He did paint a wall persimmon for me, though. I am tired of the persimmon, but he is not into changing it, so I guess he likes it. I hate painting walls.

Yes I do. But it is more on the order of a deep purple. It is amazing how many colors that it goes with. There is a touch of it in the living, dining and guest bath. But the main colors are beige and a touch of ocean blue.

I do have a lighter purple flower in a floral border in the guest bath. But it doesn't scream... I am purple. I have dark dusty purple towels in there to compliment the whole look.

My sister's favorite color is purple. Not a mild shade, a dark shade of purple. When we were growing up my parents let her paint her room purple. Guess how many coats of paint that took to paint over. My sister's ex told me once "don't ever buy her anything purple again". Shouldn't have done that. LOL. It started as a joke... now every year I give her a purple ornament for her christmas tree. I try to be original every year. She now decorates the tree in purple, purple lights (I have no idea where she found those), purple ornaments, purple everything.

I don't have it in my home but I love the color. My oldest DGD (25 yr) has loved purple all her life. Her room is painted a med dark purple that is rich and beautiful.

Yes I do as it is my favorite color and I have lots of fabric in purple. Probably could open my own purple fabric store. A while back you asked people's opinion on some really bright fabric that had alot of twists on it but I didn't write down who made a fabric an you were deciding whether to order it for your shop. Do you remember it and did you order it? If you did, I want some. Thanks in advance.

My bathroom is light green (Sherwin Williams rain wash is the color and I love it!). My shower curtain and towels are green and purple - never thought I'd like that but I do!

Do you have anything purple in your house?

Yep, a long queen quilt, double fronted, with star patterns on both sides, same medium rich purple used on both sides. ....also has purple paisly print and plain dark and light purples in it too. It is hanging on the wall.
...and I have purple and dusty blue in my bathroom, along with a big silk fern in a basket, and a Monet poster on the wall.
