I have a lavender bathroom and I use green and purple towels. My smaller sewing room is also painted in a pale lavender. I find it very relaxing and soft...plus my white cabinets look really nice with the lavender.

I have a painting of a man and women in love in my bedroom and the man is wearing purple. I have purple in my bedspread and I bought purple accent pillows to bring it out. Also, I have purple curtains in this room. The walls are boring white. I have thought of maybe a light purple for the walls. Nothing bold since the other items in the room are bold.

When I bought my home, I got a great deal from the bank because the people who lost it, had painted the walls all kinds of DARK colors, so yes, I do have a purple bathroom! ICK! We are painting the other rooms first. My sewing room was Acid green on two walls, and Hot pink on two walls! I needed sunglasses t walk in there! Guess which room got painted first? I had to, I couldn't have matched colors in there!

The two year old home canned tomatoes were a bonus! lol!

I will NOT be buying purple towels!

Obnoxious living room and master bath color.

This is the color of the guest room and main bath!

Sewing room, decorated by 13 yr old. The house has raspberry carpet throughout.

This is the color that was in my room, kitchen,( I hate the amish border paper!), and utility room.

    Almost forgot to tell you...
Around 1980 I went to a conference in Indianapolis.
The hotel auditorium had walls painted a dark royal purple ans the seats were a bright chinese red orange!
Before you say "Ug"h...try it in your sewing room with some fabrics...the red orange in the crayon box is the right shade.

    The effect was really smashing!
Everybody I asked said the effect was amazing! They liked it! and a lot of them said they did not like purple either.
Not the purple in the auditorium, they earnestly explained,
it was really nice in there!
One thing about it - I will bet that everybody who saw it
never forgot it...it was so dramatic!

My kitchen is yellow and celery green with deep purple trim. I thought I'd be a little wild with ole age. Everone loves it and I certainly do. DH has gotten use to it also.

Oh YES! We are big Baltimore Ravens fans. Their colors are Purple, gold, white and black. All of our Ravens stuff add lots of purple to our home.

Beautiful lavender comforter on one of guest beds. Would love for it to have been purple but decided to go with lavender. Would LOVE to have purple on my sewing room walls, or at least one of them, but it's in the basement and no window, so it's dark enough with the dark purple wall/s.

There is purple in every room, including both bathrooms. Guess what my favorite color is!
