I've always said that I loved purple before it was even cool, lol. I started sewing my clothes as a young teen and trying to find purple fabric was tough back then. :lol: Anyway, yes, our bedroom has a lot of purple in it: the walls are Easter Egg Purple, the ceiling the lightest purple on that paint chip. The curtains are a dark violet, the quilt on the bed has purple, sage, tan and lt blue. There are other accents in the room that also contain purple in them. I also have a few purply things in our bathroom as well.
I'm not as crazy about purple as a dear friend of mine that had purple carpeting throughout her home as well as purple appliances, purple phones, purple... well, you get the idea. :lol:

I don't really and purple is my favorite color. However I have a dear friend whose daughter purchased an older two story large home (she's single) 4 bedroom with acreage and there is one bathroom that is done in purple and orchid, I'm not talking about accessories, but the tub, lavatory, toilet, and all the ceramic tile in purple and orchid. I love it. She isn't too fond of it, but doesn't have funds now to redo it.

I just recently changed the colors in our main bathroom. I have a shower curtain that I made using a fabric called "Violet Wishes". I bought all new big thirsty purple towels, and made a wedding ring wall hanging with purple rings and lavender background with accents of green. The carpets are also purple. I just love the way it looks--really jazzed it up, IMHO.
I also have some bits of purple here and there in my living room. The main color in there is green. I collect African violets, so it just all goes together... :-D
