I am currently making a " flying monkey costume" and will use one for the tail and several for the wings....

I love crocheting around them or simply wrap a double strand of yarn around 2 hangers, or u can also "pad them" and cover with fabric.

I once braided one into my hair so I could be Pippi Longstockings for Halloween. There's not much call for that project, but it did work well.

Here is a virtual Martha Stewart re-purposing solution. All ideas are great. "It's a good thing."

I found that they sell good at garage sales. Tie them up in dozen bundles and they are grabbed.

I have used this type of hangers along with the spring type of clothes pins to hang up fabric, panel, etc in my sewing room closet...it helps me to see what I have rather than having to go through boxes of my stash    Naomi

In my "other life" I work with crafts. Googleing whatever I want to recycle, and adding crafts to it nets lot's of fun things. Try this site for a few ideas: http://www.artistshelpingchildren.or...tionskids.html
