I had a nice Bernina that did beautiful stuff but I didn't feel as if I were knitting anymore. I kept it for about a year and traded it in.

I have both Studio and Brother machines - several of them. Unfortunately there is not one that does everything, so you might decide what type item and yarn weight you will be using.
You might check with Linda Williams - "Country Knitting of Maine". She writes a magazine with patterns, advice and yarn for knitting machines. Contact me if you need more info.

There is a yahoo group that can help locate parts etc, too. I bought a Studio from a quilting friend that used it for years, and she passed away before I ever opened it. I was just talking about it Saturday night! There are several classes on Craftsy now on how to use them, so that may be a help if you do get one. There are so many hobbies, so little time lol! If you decide what you are looking for, I'd be happy to part with mine- memories too painful. PM if interested. I'm in Florida. They are very heavy! I'd have to dig it out and see what the model is etc, but do your research!
