Just wondering... I know there must be ppl who sign up and never come back (can't understand why!  ) But I guess there are lots of 'lurkers' too. :D

quilt mom, you only signed on in 2007, so you weren't really gone that long. there are people who signed on and never came back. i think those are the ones that k is referring to. how long ago did this board start? nosey people want to know? i guess inquiring minds do, too.

I spent some time on the member listing last night (obviously I have too much time on my hands  ). I'm not sure if my figures are 100 percent correct, but they're close.
There are approximately 9,349 members listed. 4,341 of those members have no posts, although some have joined recently. 3,221 members have less than 10 posts. 1,787 have 10 or more posts.
The members are sorted by number of posts, so this was simple to do. Not sure if anyone wanted this information, but here it is for what it's worth.

I probably could have been doing something more productive, but I thought it was kind of interesting. :D
I wonder how many members who rarely or never post follow the threads and gain knowledge and inspiration from the active members. I'll bet there are lots.
Was the board created in 2006? I think that's the earliest date I saw for registrations, but it was in the wee hours of the morning, so i could have easily missed an earlier date.
I always like to know these things, too.

I am from Western NY. My Mom actually does have quilt group together. They quilt every Wednsday at my Gramma's church. It is big! They is about 4 weekly quilters that come every week. I come whenever I get the chance because I get tons done! It truly is fun to quilt with other people. I am young and and an older lady than I we see each other and we Burst out laughing, for no reason! Due to an incident in the past that was really funny! :)

well, this was most interesting, but I see yellow, orange and red. I know admin said color has to do with density of quilter numbers.
So if it's orange, there are more ppl there, than where it is yellow, and red is denser than orange...I think
wow, there are a lot of us in the EST zone! woo hoo, guess that's cuz the rich live out west and 'buy' stuff. Good on us
Good on all of us
