Do you have plans for Memorial Day Weekend?
#31
Around here, Memorial weekend is the traditional garden planting time. I hope to get all of my flowers out the week before and then on to the veggies. DH is usually in the parade with out local Legion, but his legs are a lot worse this year, so don't know about that. I'm sure I'll sneak some quilting in there, too.

May get lots of sewing time in if it's a rainy weekend.
For all the stay at home doing nothingers - we should have a SEW IN. Just post what we're working on during the day.

Hey Charlee! That's our anniversary weekend too! When did you get married??? We're May 28, 1988.

We are going camping with a group of friends-about 18 of us total including the kids. It always so fun to go camping in groups-the good times to be had are many :-) I am going to take some hand sewing with me as I am in the process of learning needle turn applique and it will be a great way for me to relax.

I will spend some quiet time at sun rise to honor those who gave so much of themselves during the Vietnam War. So many of my classmates lost their lives and many more still live that war as part of their daily lives. War is indeed "HELL!"

I too will spend the weekend honoring those who gave their lives for our Freedom. DH is Legion commander and Korean War Veteran and I am proud to have married into a family who gave so much to our country. My BIL was 20 year navy man as is his son. My other BIL is MIA from Korea and my DH gave 6years to Navy.
