Rhonda, my 2 younger boys are only 15 mos apart. They fought all during childhood, teens, etc. They are now grown and best friends. We kid them about all the years we had to listen to the arguing and now they get along so well!! lol

Twins run every third generation in my dad's family. I always wanted to be a twin but it wasn't my generation to have them so it was my kids' generation to have them!
My two oldest are 12 months 21 days apart. when growing up they were inseperable until they hit puberty and then the fighting began! And they still at 34 and 35 have never regained that closeness. My youngest son is 18 mos to the day younger than my other son so we more or less felt like we were raising triplets. We did everything in threes. I always said when I had to sign them up for school every year and had to everything 3 times that I felt like I was signing my life away!!

For 6 mos they are all 1 yr apart in age so for half of this year since April when Glen turned 32 they are now 32 33 and 34 until Oct 2 when Sara will be 35 and Oct 23 when Nathan will turn 34 so until April of next year they will be 32 34 and 35!
Not a one of them spends time with the others. I so hate that as an only child I always craved siblings. I have always told them they should be grateful to have siblings but they are all so much alike in that they each think they are the only one who knows how the other two should live their lives! LOL They do get along but they don't really spend any time together.
I am just happy they will all get together for Christmas and for weddings etc.

But Daymon is an impulsive hugger which annoys Devon highly!! LOL they have discussed this and agreed on terms! LOL Daymon is only allowed to hug Devon at certain times! LOL They both still say we more than I and they always want to know where the other one is at. Sometimes tho this is out of jealousy so one doesn't get something that the other one didn't get. Boys! LOL
My mother & her triplet brother have both passed away. Both twin boys are gone and only Aunt Ruth survives of the twin sisters. Out of the 14 children there are still 6 living.
Back in those days twins were not too common and triplets were really unique. My Mother used to tell stories of how people would come to their farm from all over just to see the triplets. My grandmother used to call them out of the house and line up the triplets and both sets of twins for the people to see.
Sounded hilarious (to me) but mom didn't think so!

I think they look a lot alike too. My Dad and Uncle (fraternal) really didn't look like brothers lol
With all the twins on both sides of my family I really didn't want them!! But then the 2 so close in age were sorta like that hee hee

Twins don't run in our family, however all of a sudden, my cousin has identical twin granddaughters and my niece is 31 weeks along with twin boys. No pictures yet of the boys.
