I love yarn and I have tried but just could get the hang of knitting or crochet. My younger DD is teaching herself to knit. She just looked up "how to knit" on YouTube and is doing an amazing job. She is already making cute scrarves by knitting and purling. See, I am clueless!

Used to knit. used to crochet. used to needlepoint. used to cross-stitch. used to sew clothing. then, I discovered quilting! And, I never looked back!

I knit socks, actually that is first thing I learned to do, no one told me it was hard or I could not do it. I also have knit many other things. But as nycquilter said, quilting has gotten in the way of my knitting.

I knit fluffy scraves, but that is about it. Got some great fluffy yarn at hobby lobby a couple months ago.

I knew this was not a coincidence. Must be matched automatically by key words

Yes, I knit too. I use cotton yarn for washcloths - such pretty colors and really soft to use. One of our local Walmarts is reorganizing their yarn wall and they have some cones of yellow for 5 dollars. That's a really great price but I don't need it!

I knit too. Nothing big or complicated. Back in the day I made baby sweaters with honest to goodness patterns and made my oldest a coat. He was about 2. I still have it in a box. Recently I've made scarves and baby blankets. And some hats for the youngest grandbaby, when he was an infant but he is 3 now. Sometimes it feels good to curl up with some yarn and the needles.
